Today I headed over to the big Hellmann's Burger Rave at Bunzai, where Noah Bachofen was on site in person presenting his smashburger. There were two different burger creations to try right there.

First up was the Caramelized Onion Burger with a juicy beef patty, caramelized onions and cheese, finished off with a Secret Sauce based on Hellmann's Real Mayonnaise. Honestly, this is totally my thing: savory-sweet from the onions and just really well balanced all around.

Then there was Noah's Signature Burger, built on a soft brioche bun with a single smash patty, coleslaw, ox heart tomato, a jalapeño-bacon mix, plus Hellmann's Real Mayonnaise and the Chunky Burger Sauce. The highlight here is the jalapeño-bacon mix, which gives the whole thing a nice kick and smoky note. Unfortunately, for my taste this burger was a bit too zesty, or rather the acidity was tuned a little too intense, which took away from the overall experience a bit.

Both burgers were freshly smashed on site and loaded with a generous amount of cheese, the patty was nicely crispy on the outside and juicy in the middle. On the side there were fries, also served with the various Hellmann's sauces like BBQ, truffle or chili. The whole venue was in full party mode, with decor elements like a giant burger monument and a Hellmann's sauce wall that perfectly topped off the vibe.

My verdict: two totally different burger personalities in one evening. Personally, I prefer the more classic Caramelized Onion Burger, but Noah's Signature Burger definitely left a lasting impression with its creativity. A cool event for all you burger fans out there!
